A transmission rebuild is a complete transmission overhaul. We will remove the transmission from your car and completely disassemble it. All transmission parts are inspected. Worn or damaged parts in your transmission are replaced.
The transmission is then reassembled according to factory specifications, usually along with gaskets, seals, clutches and bands. It is then reinstalled. This is a custom procedure done by a transmission specialist.
Transmission repair is where one or more parts (such as a sensor or solenoid) and can be replaced without dismantling the entire transmission. Some transmission leaks can also be repaired. With a proper transmission inspection, road test, and diagnosis our transmission experts will determine if your car needs a transmission repair or a rebuild.
