Rebuilt Transmission

A transmission rebuild is a complete transmission overhaul. We will remove the transmission from your car and completely disassemble it.  All transmission parts are inspected.  Worn or damaged parts in your transmission are replaced. The transmission is then reassembled according to factory specifications, usually along with gaskets, seals, clutches and bands. It is then reinstalled. This is a custom procedure done by a transmission specialist.

Transmission Repair

Transmission repair is where one or more parts (such as a sensor or solenoid) and can be replaced without dismantling the entire transmission. Some transmission leaks can also be repaired. With a proper transmission inspection, road test, and diagnosis our transmission experts will determine if your car needs a transmission repair or a rebuild. This alternative allows you to save on cost.

Transmission Maintenance - Automatic and Manual

Proper maintenance of your transmission can prevent costly transmission repairs. Just like the oil in your car needs to be clean, so does your transmission fluid. Automatic and manual transmission function differently – their purpose is the same – MOVEMENT!  A transmission is made up of hundreds of complicated parts.  Just as you care for yourself, this critical part of your vehicle needs cared for as well with proper maintenance – starting with transmission fluid, which serves many purposes:  cooling, lubricating, transmitting force and pressure.  Basically it moves and protects the transmission, so it is important that the transmission fluid is clean.  Proper maintenance can prevent a costly transmission build or replacement.

» Fluid that smells burnt or looks dirty should be changed – this can lead to further complications and damages
